ARM is delighted to be supporting a prestigious client, who are actively seeking a Strategic Buyer to join them on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities
* Negotiate deals and select high-performing suppliers that meet our cost, quality, delivery, management and technology objectives.
* Ability to liaise with stakeholders.
* Create procurement strategies.
* Work with the business units to deliver a high-performing supply chain.
* Work with Group business services to transact on our behalf.
* Manage any day-to-day tasks working within our brand-new system.

Requirements
* Experience working as a buyer in a regulated or complex industry is required.
* Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with focus on drawing value for the company.
* A proven track record of delivering results. Business and commercial acumen.
* A degree in a relevant field or CIPS qualification - desirable.
* You are motivated, have a can-do attitude and can work in a range of teams.
* Global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working. Willingness to learn and be part of a dynamic, diverse team.
* Good planning / project management skills.
