ARM is proud to be supporting a household digital brand with the recruitment of a Social Media Manager on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
The Social Media Manager will be working with the Head of External Communications to manage the business's reputation, through both reactive and proactive online/social media engagement.

Responsibilities
* Replying to all non-customer service enquiries, responding to online feedback and enquiries within a two-hour timeframe via the Hootsuite platform / or any other platform we adopt.
* Engaging with the customer service team to support with general member and homeowner issues as needed and providing holiday cover for Customer Service Digital Officer.
* Identifying and flagging emerging issues and liaising with in house customer service and PR team to respond quickly.
* Responsible for community management - banning users, hiding comments, and moderating online/social channels as needed across organic and paid - to aid reputation and improve acquisition.
* Accountable for creating a positive narrative to counter any negative stories or comments, turning around the opinions of users who complain.
* Copywriting social media comms and reactive communications with exceptional attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
* Build 'lines to take' bible of responses to reoccurring inquiries and comments.
* Provide weekend and holiday social media cover - checking channels twice a day for any emerging issues.
* Produce social media and community weekly updates and in-depth monthly reports for the business which offer insight and learnings and delivered to deadline.
* Regular competitor activity reporting and advising on changes to strategy and new ideas.

Requirements
* Solid judgement of risk and reputation, with instinctive emotional intelligence.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and with very active community channels.
* Understanding of what makes a great social media story - both positive and negative.
* Exceptional people and networking skills - confident to speak to people at all levels.
* Well organised, able to work on your own initiative and to work on multiple roles.
* A "can-do" attitude and friendly demeanour while still pushing to get results.
* Exceptional copywriting skills and brilliant attention to detail.
* Strong admin and IT skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and management tools.
