My client who is a leading Building Services Company based in Romsey is looking to recruit a Site Manager (Gas) for projects across the South.
The role:
This role encompasses overseeing Health & Safety practices, managing project delivery timelines, controlling costs, maintaining transparent stakeholder communication, and conducting engineer audits. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of project management
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Accountable for maintaining high levels of Health & Safety practices on-site to create hazard-free environments. Create and manage paperwork, including RAMS and permits to work.
- Act as a liaison with clients and stakeholders, maintaining transparent and harmonious project interactions.
- Manage project timelines and details to ensure seamless alignment with the prescribed program. Focus on the timely delivery of projects.
- Assist in controlling project costs in alignment with estimates and programs to contribute to financial success.
- Provide regular progress reports to clients to foster transparency and condense in our work.
- Control resource and delivery requirements, ensuring a balanced workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Welcome and induct all staff to the site, setting the tone for a productive and secure work environment.
- Conduct safety talks and toolbox sessions to create a culture of vigilance and responsibility.
- Meticulously manage hire plant and equipment to keep projects on track and powered for success.
- Compile and update site Þles to ensure all project documentation is complete and readily accessible.
- Conduct daily quality assurance and health & safety checks to maintain the highest standards.
- Ensure site set ups are completed, including RAMs boards, to facilitate smooth operations.
- Assist the team with raising quotations for technical items to contribute to efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct engineer audits to ensure compliance with project standards and regulations, identifying areas for improvement and implementation of corrective measures.
