Senior Transport Planner in Guildford, Surrey

ARM are working with a highly reputable consultancy in Guildford, to help further strengthen the experience Transport Planning team.

About You:
You will be an experienced Transport Planner, with good all-round knowledge of relevant guidance, standards and software. Specifically, this could include:

• Experience in all technical aspects of a transport planner role
• Project management experience would be beneficial but not essential
• Financial management of projects
• Experience with Excel, AutoCAD (beneficial), Arcady, Picady or LinSig
• Excellent client-facing manner and ability to foster positive relationships with clients
• Proficiency in negotiating with clients, project teams and highway officers
• Experience of preparation of fee proposals (beneficial)
• Good report writing and presentation skills
• Mentoring of some junior staff in training and development

What you will be doing:
You will be working on a variety of projects for public and private sector clients, from small residential schemes to large mixed-use, commercial and education developments.
You will provide technical expertise, as well as offering knowledge and mentorship to more junior staff.

This is a full-time permanent role based in the Guildford office, with hybrid working available after the initial 3 months unless otherwise agreed.

What you can expect in return:
A salary of up to £40,000 DoE, plus package and professional membership support.
