Advanced Resource Managers are working with a well-known railway client in the UK. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Test Engineer based in Birmingham.
About You:
- You will have a IRSE License as Tester in Charge
- You will hold an Electrical Engineering Qualification
- You will be experienced in commissioning and testing on the railways.
- You will have excellent knowledge of the procedures and standards that must be followed in a project lifespan.
- You will have excellent communication skills.
What you will be doing:
- You will be promoting Health and Safety at work, supporting a zero-incident environment and culture.
- You will be managing the test engineers assigned to the project and ensure that the work is carried out and recorded in the correct way.
- You will be ensuring that all internal and external stakeholders are regularly kept up to date throughout the project and addressing any issues if they arise.
- You will be responsible of regular audits of work to provide reassurance to clients that current procedures and processes are being adhered to.
- You will be accountable for handing over the system to the client, certifying that the system is fit for purpose.
This role is based in Birmingham; it is a permanent full-time role and will require you being in the office every day.
The salary for the Senior Test Engineer is between £66,000 - £76,000 depending on experience. If desired, there will be career development and progression within the company.
