ARM are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer to work on a 12 month contract with a leading client in the Nuclear industry

What you'll be doing

• Lead the requirements development for the design work packages in the application of decommissioning and enabling works (e.g. cutting and dismantling of the redundant systems, retrieval and transportation means, packaging, waste containers, etc.) from concept to detailed design.
• Support the Systems Engineer Lead in maintaining the requirement management for the whole project (writing the requirements, recording the justification, assigning the responsibilities, providing guidance on compliance and other aspects of RM)
• Working closely with the engineering leads to identify and collate the interfaces, assumptions, and exclusions.
• Proactively work with engineering leads and their teams to develop the requirements, and support the engineering design activities in delivering the compliance with requirements.
• Support and develop the young members of the team in adapting the Systems Engineering best practice
• Produce and review, verify and approve all deliverables including those under their direct control and supervision
• Promote effective communication and contribution across teams

What do you need to succeed?

• Degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant technical discipline
• Technical background preferably in systems or associated discipline.
• Experience delivering systems engineering and Requirements Management within a project delivery environment.
• Breadth and depth of experience in a range of commercial, nuclear or defence projects

Details of the contract

• Based out of Warrington
• Pay rate of £50- £60 per hour inside IR35
• 12 month contract
