An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the largest Defence companies in the UK, they have been involved with some major naval projects throughout its history and are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team.

As a senior systems engineer you will be required to apply your knowledge of systems engineering principals of ISO 15288 to support the design of systems for the Royal Navy through the entire engineering life-cycle from requirement definition to system integration and customer acceptance into system support and disposal.
You will be required to hold technical accountability for tasks and provide guidance to systems engineers.
Discern and decompose requirements to system and sub-systems level and manage these in an approved tool-set such as IBM DOORS.

There are multiple locations available for this role - Hillend, Scotstoun, Northern Ireland, Manchester, Preston, Farnborough, Broad Oak, Chelmsford, Portsmouth and Cowes. All of these sites are also offering a range of flexible working such as Hybrid, Part time & Job share options.

Essential Skills Required for the role

• Achieved or be in the final stages of achieving Chartered Engineering status and/or working towards relevant professional accreditation - INCOSE UK, ASEP or CSEP certification
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualification/experience) in relevant STEM subject.
• Team Leader/management experience.
