Senior Sub Contract Buyer in Luton, Bedfordshire

ARM are recruiting for a Senior Sub Contract Buyer - Within Defence for a Long term contract opportunity with a Key Defence Client based in Luton.

Long term Contract paying Inside IR35

The role requires you to be able to achieve UK Government Clearance, if you already have active have SC or DV please apply.

Day to Day you will -
Lead the delivery of sub-contract management activities and other procurement related services which may be required by the IPT and its constituent projects
Performance of complex assignments requiring cross functional collaboration without supervision
Promotes customer intimacy in both internal and external relationships
Focal point for Suppliers regarding contract and supply base matters across multiple products for Praetorian.
Ability to balance priorities and manage time effectively
Identify solutions for complex areas of potential risk /opportunity e.g. sub-contract risk, liability and exchange rate exposure etc. and deliver solutions/mitigations
Promotes a culture of best practice and sharing of knowledge within the function and across the wider business
Work with stakeholders, at all levels, in order to understand Customer requirements and critical success factors
An understanding of legal aspects and an ability to negotiate bespoke terms and conditions
Management of Export Compliance, restrictions and third party rights for all procured items

You'll Ideally hold the following attributes -
Can accurately prepare data in a timely manner
Consistently meet deadline and to the required standard
Adhere to functional specific's, LCM and business process requirements and standards
Identify and manage supply chains & support outsourced service requirements
