Senior Systems Engineer in Portsmouth, Hampshire

ARM are currently recruiting for a Senior Systems Engineer ideally with MBSE Experience to work with one of our key clients, a global defence company.

This will be a Hybrid working position based in Portsmouth, It is a great opportunity to join a market leading client working on cutting edge technology on a permanent basis who offer real training and career development.

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:

* To explore, understand and develop cutting edge technologies
* Providing Model Based Systems Engineering support to various projects, bids, and improvement initiatives
* Assisting in creating strategies for product development across the lifecycle, from requirement elicitation through to qualification, including integration, verification, and validation activities
* Interpreting requirements and consider compromises to provide an optimum solution to satisfy the requirements through modelling, testing, and prototyping
* Continually promoting the use of Model Based Systems Engineering across the business, whilst continuing to develop your own engineering capabilities, knowledge and skills aligned to industry best practices
* Acting as a technical reviewer for supporting the development and acceptance of designs
* Liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient engagement in support of system realisation

You should experience of the following:

* Systems Engineering experience
* Model Based Systems Engineering experience
* Qualification in STEM based discipline or relevant experience
