Senior Structural Engineer- Aberdeen, Scotland

Overview:

A leading engineering firm seeks a Senior Structural Engineer for their Fleet and Equipment team. This role involves providing technical support for a global fleet and developing structural engineering solutions for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide structural engineering expertise and support.
• Prepare and check design reports, calculations, and specifications.
• Conduct design and analysis using STAAD Pro, FS2000, and ANSYS.
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Support large procurement packages and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Provide occasional offshore or site support.
• Mentor junior engineers.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Naval Architecture (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MathCAD, STAAD Pro, FS2000, ANSYS.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
• Experience in Marine and Oil and Gas industry design.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
