Overview:
A leading engineering firm seeks a Senior Structural Engineer for their Fleet and Equipment team. This role involves providing technical support for a global fleet and developing structural engineering solutions for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structural engineering expertise and support.
- Prepare and check design reports, calculations, and specifications.
- Conduct design and analysis using STAAD Pro, FS2000, and ANSYS.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Support large procurement packages and coordinate with other disciplines.
- Provide occasional offshore or site support.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Naval Architecture (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MathCAD, STAAD Pro, FS2000, ANSYS.
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
- Experience in Marine and Oil and Gas industry design.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards.
