Senior SHEQ Advisor in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire

Senior SHEQ Advisor - South Wales - Permanent - £50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance

ARM is working with a major Civil engineering company and we are currently recruiting for a Senior SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) Advisor to join the team based in South Wales.

About You:
* You will be an experienced SHEQ professional with significant experience in civil engineering.
* Your experience should include civil infrastructure projects or highways or rail.
* You will either be chartered or a member of IOSH.
* You will hold a recognised NEBSOH certificate.
* Your experience will include writing standards and revising them, incident reporting, and ideally some audit experience too.
* You will need to hold a UK driving license for this position also.

What you will be doing:
As the Senior SHEQ Advisor, you will help the SHEQ Manager on several projects and frameworks in the company. Current projects include council, civil infrastructure, highways, and rail projects in the UK. You will also help the manager with some mentoring of more junior SHEQ staff. This position will see you onsite and in the office, hence the need to drive to some of the sites which can be away from towns and cities.

This position is based in Abergavenny in South Wales. The role is a combination of office and site-based work.

What you can expect in return:
The salary for this position is between £50,000 and £55,000 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the role. On top of this is an excellent benefits package that includes a generous pension scheme, training and development, and various other rewards and benefits. This position also comes with a car allowance.
