Senior Quantity Surveyor in Newport

Advanced Resource Manager are currently working with a leading building materials company, who are seeking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who is based in Gwent for a permanent role!
About You:
* You will need to be educated to degree level in quantity surveying or hold a qualification to HNC or HND degree level.
* Ideally you will hold or alternatively be working towards being a member of a relevant professional body e.g., CICES, RICS
* You will need relevant experience working on general civil engineering projects or working within the construction industry in other sectors.
* You will need to understand/ experience of using NEC 3&4/JCT and/or ICC forms of contracts.
* You will have experience dealing with both Public and private sector clients.
What you will be doing:
You will be working in the Infrastructure industry, on civil engineering projects. You will be preparing and formulating competent plans for projects ranging from mid to high level of complexity. Key responsibilities for this role will include:
* You will be involved in the preparation and agreements of interim valuations and final accounts
* You will be recording, monitoring, and reviewing the financial performance of contracts
* You will be securing payments from customers within specified contract terms
* You will be required to mentor and mange subordinate staff.
This role will be a mixture of site and office based; the site you will be working on is in Gwent.
You will be required to hold a valid driver's license.
The Salary Range on this role is: £55,000 to £65,000 per annum. With this client there are good benefits included with this role such as, contributory pension scheme (3% employee and 6% employer OR 5% employee and 8% employer), car allowance and much more!
