Senior Quality Engineer in Frimley, Surrey

Locations: Portsmouth, Dorchester, Frimley (Flexible working available)

What you'll be doing:

• Quality planning
• Providing support and guidance to bids and projects on quality-related issues
• Process quality audits
• Product Verification Audits, including Physical and Functional Configuration Audits
• QA review and oversight of testing activities
• QA review and oversight of Design Reviews
• Collation, analysis and reporting of metrics associated with testing and audits undertaken
• Lead quality improvement activities within area of responsibility
• Support Design Certification and sign off when required
• Support and host 2nd and 3rd party audits

Your skills and experiences:

• Excellent knowledge of quality management systems including those associated with non-conformance and configuration management, supply chain management
• Good knowledge of the implementation of ISO 9001 requirements
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• QMS Internal Auditor

Desirables:

• Good knowledge of Legal and Corporate Governance requirements as they relate to projects and/or products, with particular emphasis on ITAR and records management.
• Expert knowledge of project and engineering lifecycles and practices
• Understanding of the need to capture and maintain data generated for use by the project and the tools and techniques so used
• Good working knowledge of statistical methods, metric development and deployment. Knowledge of business tools such as SAP, or configuration management systems such as Windchill
• Knowledge of AS9100
