Purpose of the Job
As a Senior Product Designer you will be a part of our industry leading technology department working in our Product and Design team. You will be responsible for designing end-to-end experiences for our customers utilising your UX, UI and user research skills. You will work closely with our engineering team and stakeholders across the business to deliver customer experiences that support us on our goal to grow market share.
Key Skills/Competencies Experience, Knowledge
You have experience in a Product Design, or equivalent, role.
You have a strong portfolio which demonstrates your experience, design skills, thinking and approach.
You follow a user centred design approach, utilising user research and testing activities, to identify opportunities and create solutions which add value and deliver outcomes for customers.
You are passionate about our users who promotes UX best practices, usability and accessibility.
You are an excellent communicator and can confidently present evidence backed solutions to stakeholders to colleagues to get buy in for wider strategic goals.
You are familiar with working in an Agile environment but are also an independent worker who can balance your own workload and identify priorities based on business value.
You have experience of being an active contributor to design systems, with the ability to identify reusable patterns and elements to promote system thinking and consistency across end-to-end journeys.
You are highly proficient in Figma, or other similar design tools.
You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way.
Key Responsibilities
You will work within one or more multidisciplinary teams, where you will help to shape the direction of our products, identify opportunities, and deliver well defined solutions to complex design challenges using a user-centred approach
You will help lead and shape the user research, testing and data insight activities within the design team.
You will actively contribute to defining the design vision, setting standards and mentoring other designers in order to establish and improve ways of working.
You will create highly usable, accessible and visually engaging user interfaces that align with our design system and brand.
You will work with Engineers and Product Managers to facilitate delivery, and ensure quality, of agreed design solutions.
