Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Hampshire

At ARM, we are currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work on a permanent basis for a leading client within the Nuclear Manufacturing and Engineering industry.

What you'll be doing
* Progressing the technical delivery of engineering projects, as allocated, in alignment with the Project Engineering Manager and Project Manager.
* Technically supporting the Commercial Department
* Producing engineering designs and associated engineering documents
* Reviewing concept designs, 3D CAD scheme designs, detailed manufacturing drawings and design substantiation by hand calculations.
* Producing concept designs, full 3D scheme design and 2D detail design for manufacture within SolidWorks all within the required timescales
* Providing analysis and understanding of technical tender specifications, producing the technical aspects of tender returns and creating accurate tender design estimates

Requirements we need:
* Degree qualified within a relevant subject
* Experience working within the Nuclear or Defence industry
* Live SC clearance or the ability to obtain SC clearance
* Experience with 2D or 3D CAD
