The Senior Electrical Engineer will be working on some of the most prestigious and innovative projects in Manchester, across the UK and around the world.
An opportunity has arisen within my client's building services division, for the position of Senior Electrical Engineer. Working as a key member of the team, you will be provided with the autonomy to design Electrical services in many sectors of the industry and be client facing, representing the Company.
To fulfil this role, you will need to be degree qualified, or in the process of obtaining your degree (or equivalent), demonstrate suitable design experience in the building services sector (preferably across a variety of sectors) and be an effective communicator, both verbally and in the production of reports and specifications.
Senior Electrical Engineer Key Requirements
- You will have experience in using recognised design software tools such as REVIT and ideally have exposure to MagiCAD
- Have great communication skills that can adapt both to external parties and clients but also within the team
- Understand project needs and be able to manage the full delivery
- You will have recognised qualifications in Electrical services design and either be working towards Chartered Status, or have an interest in doing so
- Be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team in support to deliver projects
- Experience of people management is desirable
- Future flexibility will be needed for regular co-operation, travel and inter-office working
- In house expertise for Electrical enquiries
My client is now carrying out their projects in the 3D environment and are rolling out StabiCAD design tool across all offices. While a detailed knowledge of this software is not an essential (training will be provided) an awareness of working in a 3D environment is, as is a knowledge of cable sizing and lighting design software.
