Senior Commercial Manager in Bristol

Procurement Manager - Defence - Bristol - Permanent - £65,000 - £75,000 plus car allowance

ARM are looking for a Procurement Managers to join one of our international clients in Bristol on a permanent basis.

The Role:
The role includes drafting contract documentation and solicitations for proposals, performing cost analysis, negotiating terms and conditions and pricing, supplier selection and contract award.

All successful candidates must have full SC in place

Responsibilities:

• Implementing successfully the commercial policy objectives in all sourcing projects and to challenge where appropriate.
• Conducting pre-procurement market analysis to inform sourcing and commercial strategies.
• Developing clear sourcing and commercial strategies that reflect the needs of the business
• Planning commercial activity, providing commercial inputs to the project schedule
• Contributing to development of business cases for approval.

Requirements:

• Significant experience as a senior commercial manager.
• Background in managing of full time staff.
• Expertise in MOD procurement processes and new acquisition and approvals strategies.
• Ability to innovate and think differently, challenging status quo and set ways of working.
• Ability to seamlessly integrate with both other delivery partners (engineering and programme) to deliver quality joint outputs to time, schedule and budget.
• Patience and resilience, ability to work accurately and at pace.
• Diplomacy but stimulating when working with others.
• Good stakeholder and interpersonal skills.
