SDET Engineer
**Must hold active Security Clearance**
3 months contract
£575 p/d INSIDE IR35
Hybrid - 2 days per week in Central London

Key Skills

• Ideally experience with Provar Test Automation toolset.

• CI/CD
• Java/OOP concepts
• Selenium/Web Automation
• BDD/Cucumber

Experience required:

• Experience of testing and automating APIs, middle ware, UI using a wide variety of tools available in Java, Python, JavaScript and NodeJS technologies
• Experience in designing automation frameworks to test Microservices, REST, SOAP services using java libraries Rest Assured, SAAJ, Jersey client, JAXB, Java reflection, Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, Cucumber JVM (BDD framework), Junit, TestNG and tools SOAP UI
• Experience in designing and maintenance of automation frameworks for testing web applications using both Java library e.g. Selenium Webdriver, Selenium Grid and also using JavaScript node modules Cypress, and Webdriver wrappers e.g.: Webdriver IO, and using execution frameworks Mocha and assertion libraries Chai, etc.
• Experience in designing performance tests using JMeter
• Experience in using cloud infrastructure AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, IAM, EKS, etc.)
• Experience of integrating automation test suites into CI/CD pipeline e.g.: Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience of working in Agile projects and well versed with all ceremonies including backlog grooming, Sprint planning, Sprint review and Sprint demos. Participate in pair programming with developers
• Experience of working in onsite-offshore model, green-field projects and set up test infrastructure from scratch
• Technically strong and very quick to pick up new programming/scripting languages
