Location - remote with possible visits to London
You will be responsible for:
- Developing cutover approach for a large IT enabled business transformation programme, and creation of detailed plans and cutover materials to support the agreed approach
- Collecting information from key stakeholders and translate this into an actionable detailed cutover run book
- Defining the detail of the sequence of activities needed to cutover to the new solutions- from when the readiness criteria are complete, through to the end of Early Life Support for both all projects
- Defining the teams/locations required to deliver the IT and business transition
- Working with the IT lead, Change lead and Test Lead to understand the coordinated activities required for both the dress rehearsal and production cutover
- Providing detailed weekly status reports
- Identifying and managing risks and issues via the RAID log and escalations where required
Experience required:
- Experience in mergers and/or acquisitions and the transition journey of integrating companies
- Experience in developing E2E detailed cutover plans with a focus on business activities as part of a complex IT and business transformation programme (i.e. defining ramp-down strategy for intercompany processes, defining cutover approach with third parties such as off-shore teams, external vendors, etc).
- Experience in SAP cutovers
Skills required:
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to gather and understand complex needs and translate them into executable, task by task runbook
- Confident working with ambiguity in a fast paced environment and working to challenging deadlines
- Comfortable working with global stakeholders from teams (IT, business, off-shore, operations) located in different geographies, from different levels
- Ability to understand what business transition activities are required during the cutover and develop alignment of information from multiple teams
- Highly Structured, organised, dedicated individuals needed.
- Analytical and solutions oriented; ability to solve complex problems, provides detailed insight and constructive criticism into problems and complex situations
- Ability to build personal relationships with business teams and peers, while inspiring and motivating others
- Ability to work independently and within local and global teams
- Previous experience managing projects involving integrations, data migration, or complex technical landscapes.
