RF Test Engineer in Portsmouth, Hampshire

Our client is looking for a RF Test Engineer.

The ideal candidate would have:
* RF and Microwave Engineer, a background in electrical and electronics engineering and with considerable experience working with Vector Network Analysers.
* Experience using Keysight and Anritsu Vector Network Analyzer's desirable.
* An understanding of technical properties of RF Cable & Connectors.
* Experience in Insertion Loss & VSWR/Return Loss Measurement and Phase, Delay & Length Matching of Cable Assemblies.
* Experience in working in a production environment.

Duties will include:
* Testing of Cable Assemblies over a wide range of frequencies utilising a Vector Network Analyser.
* Fault finding on product failures and advising on solutions both within the test department and Production
* Supporting production on high frequency and precision assemblies on areas of build improvement to gain performance required.
* Supporting the sales team on quotations provided to customers for our high performance and High frequency RF products.
* Capable of holding technical discussions with suppliers of High-Performance RF Cable and Connectors.
* Capable of analysing a customer requirement and proposing technical solution which meets performance required.
* Managing Test Adaptor and Test Lead database to keep up to date. Carrying out monthly checks on all test adaptor and leads to ensure in good working order.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Friday 8:00AM to 1:00PM.
Our client is willing to pay £35,000 - £45,000 dependant on experience.
