The Structural Steel Division at ARM are currently recruiting a Quantity Surveyor, to be based out of Norwich

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Structural Steel client. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of the department, meet deadlines, and uphold contractual obligations. You should have strong attention to detail, work well under pressure, and possess an analytical mindset to maintain accurate commercial documentation.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Assist and support senior management with the settlement of any contractual disputes.
  • Review and authorise sub-contractor Invoices/applications for payment, including the issue of appropriate and timely payment and pay-less notifications.
  • Assist with the development and mentoring of trainee Quantity Surveyors and other staff members.
  • Desirable - In-depth knowledge of JCT, NEC, and bespoke forms of Sub-Contract
  • Desirable - Reviewing Collateral Warranties, Parent Company Guarantees and Performance Bonds.

Essential requirement

  • Structural steel experience
