Quality Engineer in Reading, Berkshire

The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Quality Engineer (s) (Nuclear) to join Our Nuclear Civil Engineering client, to be based out of Reading.

Job Overview:

The role exists in order to develop and implement site quality arrangements across all aspects of site activities (e.g. Installation, Commissioning, Operations) in support of the overall project lifecycle.

The Site Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that activities (e.g. audits) are undertaken to establish the implementation status of the above arrangements and the reporting of such information.

Some of your duties will include:

• Ensuring any site quality non-conformances / issues are managed and closed out.

• Liaison with site subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that the quality and specification requirements are understood.

• Ensuring Supplier quality arrangements are reviewed and approved / acceptance in accordance with site/project requirements, including Customer approvals.

What do you need to succeed?

• Good working knowledge of the Nuclear industry and Nuclear License Conditions.

• Have experience of Nuclear Construction Site Work

• Good working knowledge and application of ISO 9001
