Quality Control Engineer in Warrington, Cheshire

ContractThe energy team here at Advanced Resource Managers are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Control Engineer to join a leading client within the Nuclear industry.
You will be responsible for ensuring that activities (planning, audits, reviews, assessments) are undertaken to establish the implementation and performance status monitoring of the necessary quality arrangements and reporting such information.
Key Responsibilities-
This position requires an individual who understands the structure of a Business Management System (BMS) and the project delivery lifecycle. Is able to review and update or provide input to project delivery management documentation with reference to quality planning control activities. Is able to support problem-solving or improvement activities against an agreed assurance programme.
- Provides support to the (Senior) Quality Manager in delivering the project's quality strategy in coordination with the suppliers and delivery partners.
- Provides advice and support to the business on all aspects of quality, including the production and delivery of its quality planning and control documentation and ensuring appropriate quality levels are allocated to control of work activities.
- Provides support and advice to the project on planning to meet standards relevant to its activities.
- Provides support to the reviewing of findings from independent assurance activities.
- Supports Learning From Experience (LFE) and the delivery of Continual Improvement (CI) processes across the business.
- Ensuring any supply chain quality non-conformances (NCRs) are managed and closed out in a timely manner and supports the implementation of necessary corrections and corrective actions to remedy any non-conformity found and to avoid recurrence.
- Ensuring Supplier and partner manufacturing quality arrangements are reviewed and approved/accepted in accordance with project requirements, including Customer approvals.
- Support to the production and review of internal and supplier Inspection and Test Plans for Manufacturing, Installation, and Commissioning activities.
- Monitoring performance and progress against the site quality arrangements, identifying areas of concern to the overall project and where necessary escalating to Line Management.
Ensuring the requirements for the site and manufacturing lifetime records are clearly identified and that such records are prepared and maintained, including all relevant review and approval activities, concurrently with manufacturing or site activities.
