Full-stack Django Developer

Hybrid - 2 days per week in Slough or Welwyn Garden City
£475 p/d INSIDE IR35

Role summary
As a full-stack Django developer, you will be working as part of a high-performance team developing new solutions that put the customer at the heart of the product. We believe in shipping quality, tested, secure and consistent code. You will also work closely with other development teams and the DevSecOps squad to ensure the solution is performant and reliable.

We are looking for the following skills & experience:

• Significant commercial experience implementing full-stack solutions using Django and Python.
• Experience load testing and performance testing.
• Understanding of databases and SQL query optimization.
• Experience delivering applications with a focus on security.
• Source code systems and branching strategies.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Familiarity with AWS
• Familiar with Docker, Docker-compose, and Kubernetes

Desirable:

• Basic understanding of Redis.
• Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment techniques, approaches, and tools, including experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Experience in developing Java applications is desirable but not essential
