Project Procurement Manager in Portsmouth, Hampshire

What you'll be doing:
· Developing and applying procurement processes within projects or business functions to source goods and services where the value, risk or contract warrants special definition or conditions beyond those for a routine purchase
· Sharing procurement principles and practices, including an understanding of the impact and implications of decisions made across the wider Supply Chain
· Utilising MRP data and any other relevant planning systems
· Interfacing with key stake holders (Quality engineering projects) to deliver consistent supplier performance
· Demonstrating subcontract management and supply relationship management using relevant tools and techniques
Your skills and experiences:
· Complex procurement experience & sub-contract management
· Understanding of the impact and implications of decisions made across the wider Supply Chain
· Strong communication and influencing skills to all levels of stakeholders
· Providing training and advising new team members
· Managing own workload with the ability to prioritise
· SAP experience and CIPS is advantageous
