PermanentPURPOSE/SCOPE
* To assist the Commercial and Projects Director with the administration, management and delivery of those projects assigned, in order to facilitate the delivery of projects within timescales and budget and maintain customer satisfaction.

The management of all commercial issues in relation to a range of contracts from small UK to large overseas projects and administration of all non-technical aspects in relation to the running of all projects in order to effectively coordinate all contractual issues related to the project, to include, but not limited to:
* Administration of all non-technical aspects relating to the running of projects in order to effectively coordinate all contractual issues, to include, but not limited to:
a) Attend external client meetings and site visits as necessary
b) Customer and staff liaison
c) Apply for Export licenses as necessary
d) Cost control & reporting ensuring that all financial requirements such as bonds and Letters of Credit are raised in a timely manner, and that all documentation is correct prior to submission to Bank
* Ensure that all contractual documentation is provided in accordance with the contract, in order to maintain quality of service at all times, specifically:
a) Highlight Reports
b) Regulatory Documentation
c) H&S Documentation
d) Test Reports
e) Shipping Documentation
f) Acceptance Documentation
* Ensure that all project management documentation is kept up to date and maintained in order to sustain quality of service at all times and frequent reporting to the Commercial and Projects Director specifically:
a) Periodic reports, including but not limited to, Cost to Complete, Cost Review sheets
b) Project schedules
c) Statement of Work
d) Drawings/Plans etc.
e) Project Management Plans
f) Schedule, plan & control of company training courses as required
g) Schedule, plan & control of company technical handbooks and MIR as required
h) Master Record Index
* Liaise with the Office Administrator in raising Purchase Orders for the necessary equipment
* Provision of all information to enable Sales Invoices to be raise
* Production of all schedules and documentation, including MIR Documents, Field Services Planning Documents and initiation of any amendments to the Scope of Supply in a timely manner
* The management of Sub-Contractors (sub-contractors may only be engaged with the authorisation of the Commercial and Projects Director) with particular attention to:
a) Planning and schedules
b) Issue of the Supplier Approval Questionnaire to all potential sub-contractors, ensuring its return together with existing insurance documents and proof of relevant training
c) On acceptance of the Questionnaire, create a Supplier Approval Record and arrange for issue of a Sub-Contractor Agreement for Services.
d) ensure Insurance & training relevant to the project are in date
e) advise Office Administrator of any new approved suppliers for inclusion on the Approved Suppliers list
f) visas, travel and accommodation
g) medical and vaccination requirements
h) ensure relevant training and compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
* Make all endeavours to ensure that Projects are run within budget and controlled to planned schedules, undertaking risk analysis and informing the Commercial and Projects Director if either budget or schedule is at risk, immediately it becomes known in order to ensure that remedial action can be taken
GENERAL

1. Excellent planning, presentation and communications skills
2. Negotiation and diplomacy skills
3. Proven project management experience
4. Experience with Construction Design Management regulations
5. Ability to exercise skill and judgement to solve immediate and medium term contractual problems.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
7. Committed to the values of the company and to meeting the company's objectives
8. Full, clean UK driving license
9. Good telephone manner
10. Good communication skills with staff and customers at all levels
11. Good IT skills (MS Office)
12. Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver to plan
