You will be working as a Project Manager for a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be responsible for Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Controlling and Closing of projects delivering complex secure communications infrastructure and services. You will also be responsible for managing projects in accordance with the company project lifecycle standards & accountable for the quality, cost and schedule performance of the project

Active SC clearance is required for this opportunity due to the nature of the work you will be involved in.

Skills/Experience Required
Essential:

• A degree or equivalent in project management, business management, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• A good understanding of the PMI Project Management body of knowledge.
• A basic understanding of AGILE project management.
• At least five years' experience of approving initial briefs/baselines, delivering projects and supporting bids in an engineering environment. Ideally, this will be the communications, aerospace, space or defence industries

Desirable:

• A good technical background to support your project management role
• STEM degree or equivalent
• PMI/PMP certification
