Your Duty
* As a project Controller for Marine Electrical Systems, you will join a highly successful team of seven other project controllers, who are responsible for their own designated projects.
* As part of your duties, you will maintain all of the commercial and business matters of large projects, as well as be the co-pilot of your projects. You will prepare project forecasts, variance analysis, project as well as management reports; and you will also generate transparency for your internal stake holders.
Your responsibilities
* You will handle all of the commercial and business issues within the scope of large projects(>10Mio€).
* You will become the key contact person for project managers, project team and customers.
* You will prepare the project forecast (cash flow, costs, sales, profitability). You will also prepare variance analyses, as well as prepare the project and management reports.
* You will do independent opportunity and risk assessments, as well as support the project management in claim management.
* You will review and evaluate quotations and project calculations in a cooperation with the project manager. You will support the creation and independent monitoring of project-specific KPI's.
* You will commit to accounting in accordance with internal liquidity planning, as well as in coordination with the project manager.
* You will ensure the compliance of commercial matters in line with internal regulations and guidelines.
* You will execute project related month-end and year-end closing activities.
* You will participate in customer, as well as supplier negotiations when necessary.
Requirements:
* You have at least a bachelor's degree in engineering or economics
* Minimum 5 years of proven experience in project management or project controlling of complex industrial projects
* Proven expertise of project management (e.g IPMA or PMI certification)
* Solid experience with SAP and MS Office
* Fluent German and English skills written and spoken.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills developed whilst working on high value projects.
* Ability to independently work within multidisciplinary teams and across multiple projects.
* You are show initiative with an entrepreneurial spirit and know how to set priorities
* Willingness to occasionally travel to your project sites (Approx. 5%)
