Job Purpose:
Provide a link between Cost Engineering and the wider business by supporting gateways and leading target setting activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Conducting competitor benchmarking studies
* Coordinating the teardown and costing of key commodities
* Tracking and reporting of full 'should cost' status
* Facilitating Design to Cost workshops
* Developing parametric costing tools
* Coordinating with specialist consultants
* Represent the Cost Engineering team within the wider Programmes community

Qualification & Experience:
* Strong level of IT skills especially in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
* Finance, Programmes or Engineering background
* Data management
* Team based working and coordination
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes
* Quotation form analysis
* Negotiation
* Technical and commercial awareness of bottom-up costing
* Experience in Design to Cost studies
* Bachelor's Degree
* Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred
