Procurement Officer (Indirect) - Farnborough - 6 Month Contract - £40 p/h (Inside)

ARM is delighted to be recruiting for a huge Aerospace company who are actively seeking an Indirect Procurement Officer to join them on a 6-month contract.

The role requires a Procurement professional to support a newly established Procurement function which will be responsible for sourcing and managing a wide variety of goods and services across the business.

Responsibilities:

* Analyse, define and implement market and sourcing strategies for your designated commodities
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal/external stakeholder
* To support bid preparation and proposal documentation
* Monitor, measure, and improve supplier performance
* To support the delivery of both team and wider business objectives

Requirements:

* Organisational, Supplier Relationship & Stakeholder Management skills
* Contract Management & Development
* Proven working experience, ideally in Supply Chain, Purchasing or Logistic fields
* Strong negotiation skills
* A full, valid driving license and access to your own vehicle as supplier visits will be required
* CIPS Qualified or working towards is desirable
