ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Procurement Manager on an initial 9 month contract.

The role primarily and sits within built environment and civils maintenance dealing with civils assets. The candidate will be tasked with developing procurement strategy to deal with maintenance and contracts.

Responsibilities:

* Develop procurement strategies and category plans and deliver best value and efficient procurement's of works.
* Manage the procurement processes for competitive tendering.
* Lead risk assessments with subject matter experts to establish the safety and business criticality of the works.
* Utilise e-procurement tools, templates and standard forms of contract, to maximise the efficiency and control of the procurement process.
* Manage contract negotiations.
* Maintain accurate and auditable records of procurement process compliance.

Requirements:

* Extensive Procurement experience
* Strong knowledge of public sector Procurement.
* Experience in civils is desirable.
* Sound knowledge of European and UK Procurement Law
* Excellent supplier management skills.
* CIPS qualified.
