Procurement Assistant in Gourock, Inverclyde

Procurement Assistant - Gourock - Permanent - £30,000 DOE

ARM are delighted to be supporting a leading Maritime business with the Recruitment of a Procurement Assistant on a permanent basis.

The Procurement assistant will support the Procurement function providing Procurement system administration and general Procurement support.

Responsibilities:

* Provide Procurement system administration
* Support further developments of the company's purchasing system
* Liaise with Finance to ensure user levels access in processed
* Liaise with internal stakeholders on new supplier on-boarding
* Ensure supplier price lists are updated
* Assist with management information reporting
* Provide any ad-hoc administrative support to the Procurement team

Requirements:

* Previous experience held as a Procurement administrator
* Excellent communication skills
* A good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* The ability to multitask and prioritise
* Ability to deal with staff at all levels, both internally and externally
* Good general standard of education
