£25-£30 per hour (Umbrella)

ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients in Gosport with the recruitment of a Procurement Agent on an initial 12 month contract.

The Procurement Agent will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to expand the service delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence to all business partners.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiating contracts for products, services and technologies.
• Engaging stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated.
• Negotiating pricing and contract terms and conditions.
• Preparing and executing negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Managing supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship.
• Initiating supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.
• Performing continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
• Preparing and executing proprietary information agreements.
• Supporting sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.

Requirements:

• Previous purchasing experience is essential.
• Understanding of the commodity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP/ERP knowledge.
• Strong supplier relationship skills.
• Strong and Effective Communication
• Strong customer focus.
• Analytical Skills & tool development for sustainability initiatives
