Principal Engineer in Brighton, East Sussex

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER - EAST SUSSEX - PERMANENT - UP TO £65,000 PER ANNUM

We are currently looking for a Principal Engineer for a private utility company for a permanent position based in East Sussex.

About You:
* You will have a degree or relevant experience in Engineering, Environmental or a numerate science related subject.
* You will have a demonstrable technical background in wastewater projects in the UK Water Industry.
* You will have working knowledge at a Principal/Senior engineer level.
* You will have thorough knowledge and understanding of the AMP cycle.
* You will have knowledge of the audit processes and practices in relation to the application of technical standards to design, construction, and operation activities.

What you will be doing:
You will be developing and maintaining projects in accordance with health and safety standards, ensuring designs deliver environmental and sustainable projects. You will also be providing technical guidance and leadership of the project team, liaising with stakeholders and leading design preparation of design calculation.

This role is based in East Sussex, working 5 days a week during normal office hours. This role accommodates hybrid working.

The rate of pay for this role is up to £65,000, this is based on experience and suitability. On top of this is excellent benefits package that includes a generous pension, life assurance, occupational health service, performance related bonus and more.
