Overview
The Principal Consultant (PC) is responsible for the high-quality delivery of consulting services to our client's customers, primarily focused on datacentre migration and transformation projects and programmes.
The PC leads a technical project team, providing direction, delegation of key activities and deliverables, ensures adherence to adopted delivery methodologies, and owns mitigation of technical risks and issues.
Works with the delivery team and customer stakeholders to define and gain consensus on migration/transformation strategies, roadmaps and solutions. Through implementation design and execution, the PC acts as the technical design authority.
The PC manages customer stakeholders through the lifecycle of a project, demonstrating company values and building trust in the delivery capability.
Able to interpret business requirements/goals and translate into technical solutions and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Experience of leading infrastructure and application migration/transformation initiatives.
* Broad knowledge of datacentre infrastructure technical domains.
* Ability to effectively manage workshops with customers and delivery teams, taking ownership of workshop facilitation and goals.
* Excellent consulting and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and gain consensus. Experienced in engaging with senior customer stakeholders.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to deliver effective and persuasive presentations and opinions.
Desirable skills:
* Architecture framework - TOGAF
* Cloud (Private/Public/Hybrid) - Azure/Azure stack will be considered favourably
* Networking
* Discovery tooling/Migration strategy
Experience:
Strong experience in a Consulting environment, designing and delivering customer solutions
Proven skills to lead & deliver Customer projects
