Role Details:

• £68 P/H, Inside IR35
• Aldermaston, Reading, full-time on-site
• per diem dependent on the location.
• SC Cleared the Minimum required before starting.
• 12-month Contract

The Energy Division of ARM is seeking to hire several Experienced Principal Commissioning Engineers, Positions available for Days and Nights to join their Nuclear Defence client, with the position being situated in Plymouth.

Some of your duties will include:

• Supervises Commissioning technicians under their responsibility.
• Adheres to Commissioning Quality Management System and ensures team follows procedures, codes, and standards.
• Interfaces with Client team and other project disciplines
• Provides functional inputs to Commissioning Deliverables
• Monitors and reports daily progress.
• Produces and checks Commissioning Documentation including Test Documentation and Commissioning Reports
• Assists Commissioning Team Leader in identifying Factory Acceptance Testing requirements.
• Responsible for production and checking of Commissioning Test Documentation
• Ensures mandatory test pre-requisites are in place.
• Conducts Risk Assessment and produces Safe Systems of Work
• Executes commissioning tests as scheduled.
• Ensures satisfactory completion of commissioning records and control of raw data.
• Reviews and accepts completed test records.
• Compiles and reviews Commissioning LTQR packages
• Provides discipline-specific subject matter expertise.
• Plans day-to-day commissioning execution activities.

do you need to succeed?

• Electrical & Instrumentation and Control Systems commissioning experience.
• Experience in the nuclear industry
• Previous site experience (nuclear)
• AWE experience
• Conversant with Siemens S7 and Simocode, WinCC, Profibus and PICS software packages
• For Electrical Commissioning Engineers only - 18th Edition IEE Regulations (Electrical)
• Be familiar with commissioning procedures for TCA's, Fob's (or CR's) and handover.
• Currently holding SC Clearance is Mandatory.
