Press Officer in London

Press Officer - Central London - 4 Month Contract -
£33 Per Hour Umbrella Rate - Hybrid Work

ARM are working with the GLA who are recruiting for a Press Officer to join their team in the Centre of London on a 4 month contract.

About You:
You will have at least 2 Years of experience in a Press Officer position.
You will previous experience working in the Public Sector.
You will have experience in Writing Press releases, drafting media responses and rebuttals.
You will have experience dealing with Journalists, Senior officers and Stakeholders within different organisations
You will be flexible to work unsocial hours on occasions.

What you will be doing:
In this position, you will be tasked with developing and implementing a wide range of media strategies that cover areas of the Mayor's policies, decisions and strategies as well as maintaining relationships with key external contacts that includes London and national media. You will also prepare well-written, concise and timely media strategies, briefing papers, press releases and other media materials.

This position is based in the centre of London and is commutable for all taking Train, Tube, Bus and Car. This position also offers Hybrid working.

The rate you will be working at is £33 per hour Umbrella rate, over a 4 Month contractual period.
