Planning Manager in Castle Point, Essex

PLANNING MANAGER - ESSEX - PERMANENT - £48,474-£55,309 PER YEAR

ARM are working with a local council who are responsible for developing and maintaining the local area. They are seeking a planning manager to come and join the team in Essex on a permanent basis.

To be applicable for this position you will need the following:

- Previous planning experience gained from either local authority or private sector background.

- Educated to degree level in related subject or equivalent relevant experience and knowledge.

- Great communication skills, great people skills, great leadership and ability to work to tight deadlines.

In this position you will be managing all of the development management and enforcement planning works for the council. You will be defining the best practices for your team service plans, budgets and monitoring, including within agreed limits cost centre management responsibilities. You will undertake, manage and represent the Council at external meetings (including within professional forums), briefings, presentations, tribunals, public inquiries, engagement work and consultation with stakeholders, including the community, as required

This position will be based in South of Essex. There will be hybrid arrangements included with the role as a 2-3 days per week in the office and vice versa working from home.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is paying between £48,474-£55,309 per year and will include benefits also.
