About the Role:

The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking a Physical Area Co-Ordinator to join a Leading Civil Engineering Business, that offers services within the nuclear sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for coordinating and managing interfaces with Project Management and Construction in a specific area.
  • Assesses readiness and coordinates all construction works in that area by schedule demands.
  • Supports and liaises with Construction Discipline Leads and Package Managers to ensure construction requirements are met.
  • Represents the Area JV Project Management function at pre-construction Engineering and Procurement interface meetings.
  • Liaises and attends meetings with the Client's Construction team and stakeholders.
  • Interfaces with Project Management, Engineering Design, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Health Safety and Environmental, Construction, and Commissioning Teams
  • Reports directly to Area Project Manager(s)
  • Drives delivery of the schedule for the physical area
  • Attends daily/weekly construction meetings.
  • Coordinates and manages construction delivery requirements between package managers and multiple discipline site operations.
  • Provides input for reporting to the Area Project Manager(s)

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience of Project Management on multi-discipline construction projects
  • Experience in the successful delivery of multi-discipline operations within a Nuclear environment is preferred.
