Paint Sprayer in Fareham, Hampshire

PermanentOur client is looking for a Paint Sprayer to join their team in the Fareham area.
You will be responsible for producing a high quality paint finish to a variety of aerospace components and assemblies which meet the required aerospace standards.
Ideally, you will have:
* Experience in a similar role with-in the Aerospace or Automotive industry.
* Familiarity with manual preparation and application of coatings to aerospace standards including pre-treatment, primer, undercoat and finish coats.
* Ability to use various two-pack and air drying paint systems including: High and Low solids epoxy, polyurethane, water-based, acrylic and etch primers.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
* Ensure the spraying equipment is correctly prepared for the finishing operations.
* Mask to drawing requirements to ensure that correct finish is achieved.
* Ensure correct and effective application of pre-treatments and cleaning processes.
* Ensure all paint materials are mixed correctly for colour and consistency.
* Preparation for materials ready for paint.
* Operate curing ovens.
* Participate and contribute to daily start up meetings with local team and Supervision.
* Responsible for inspecting and certifying that the quality of work is to the required specification and workmanship standards.
* Clean and maintain all spray equipment, spray booths and associated equipment.
* Quality check all finished jobs.
This is a Monday to Friday role, 37 hours per week, working hours being 8:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 8:00 - 13:00 Friday.
Our client is willing to pay in the £30,000 per annum area.
