Offshore Methods Engineer in Kingston upon Thames, London

About the Role:
The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking an Offshore Methods Engineer to join our client, who is an established Global Leader in Engineering, Technology, and Construction, for the Offshore Energy Sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the Offshore Construction Superintendent and report directly to them.
- Carry out assigned tasks from the Offshore Construction Superintendent, working closely with the Offshore Construction Assistant, master, and chief engineer.
- Monitor the progress of construction/installation activities to ensure high-quality vessel operations.
- Implement installation and maintenance methods as needed in the office.
- Use electronic daily progress reports to track and document actual versus planned activities.
- Evaluate sub-contractors' performance and assess their operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate with project personnel and assume responsibility for smooth job planning and field operations.
- Supervise yard activities for offshore construction projects.
- Coordinate with asset management to check contract compliance with assets.
- Apply project engineering principles to construction activities.
- Communicate with Client technical representatives on engineering issues.
- Conduct technical verifications as needed in the field.
What do you need to succeed?
- Experience working in offshore installation projects.
- Experience in heavy lifts and vessel operations
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Strong critical thinking skills
- A degree in civil engineering or a related discipline
