Naval Architect in Northamptonshire

Naval Architect- Northampton - (Boat building)- Competitive Salary

A leading boat builder is recruiting a Naval Architect to join their office in Northampton to produce detailed production drawings and documentation to support the build whilst reviewing key load case/performance data

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

• Working with the design team on a variety of structural designs and engineering systems.
• Supporting the development and design of major component structural design.
• Liaising and collaborating with the companies external Naval Architecture partner.
• Writing reports and documentation.

The successful candidate will;

• Have experience/and appropriate education in Naval Architecture.
• Experience with composites is seen as an advantage.
• 3D CAD experience is crucial.
• A high level of commercial acumen.
• Motor yachting experience is preferred.
