Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Consultant

2 days per week in Central London
£450-550 per day (Inside/Outside IR35)

My client, a well known bank are looking for a Dynamics 365 CRM Functional Consultant to join their fast paced team on an initial 6 month contract.

On the Job Details
* To provide in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics D365 CRM application, with specific focus on Sales, evaluate the customer's business processes and align to the best match to Microsoft Dynamics functionality.
* The role will work in a client facing project, report into the PM and solution architect for the project and will have responsibility for elaborating the backlog and designing the Microsoft Dynamics CRM functional solution.
Responsibilities Supporting requirement capture:
* Working with the business analysis and business stakeholders to understand business requirements
* Guiding the business on how to optimally meet the business requirements with MS Dynamics 365 Sales
* Demonstrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales capabilities
* Demonstrate broader Power Platform capabilities
* Helping refine target state business processes and user stories and completing a Fit/Gap analysis
Supporting refinement:
* Defining the functional design including:
o Detailing business process workflow, their stages, what fields will be presented and how, which fields will be mandatory, field validations etc.
o Detailing Form Configuration
o Detailing background system processes such as workflow and Power Automate
o Detailing Business Rules and Form Validation
o Ensuring the requisite level of definition is added to user stories in terms of business rules, data dictionaries, acceptance criteria
o Maintaining the data dictionary which will also guide the data migration
Supporting delivery
* Supporting story clarification and estimation with the developers
* Support functional and user acceptance testers in understanding and testing the solution
* Support knowledge transfer to customers users and stakeholders (business and technical)

Skills and Experience required -
* Strong MS Dynamics 365 experience in client facing roles
* Excellent functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Sales and wider Dynamics CE and Power Platform
* Experience of implementing Microsoft Dynamics in the Investment Banking sector
* Agile business analysis skills, definition and refinement of user stories and management of an Agile backlog
* Hands-on experience in designing, configuring or administering MS Dynamics CRM
* Strong work ethic with the ability to work in non-structured work environment (i.e. remotely, home office, etc.)
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills
* Strong ability to convey technical information to non-technical clients
* Self-starter with ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities
* Solves complex problems with creative solutions
* Places emphasis on client satisfaction

Highly desirable skills and experience -
* Experience with broader Power Platform capabilities including canvas apps and power automate
* Relevant Microsoft Dynamics certifications
