The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting a Metocean Engineer to join Our client, to be based out of Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey

Job Overview:

As a Metocean Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative designs using cutting-edge technology for a new Floating Wind project. You will work closely with a team of skilled engineers to ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of safety and sustainability. You will be used to guide the engineering platform for project design, construction, and operation. The successful candidate will bring a passion for designing solutions.

Some of your duties will include:

• Interpretation and analysis of metocean data, development of metocean design parameters and metocean hindcasting
• Designing load case selection, including wave, wind and current data for limiting states.
• Capable of performing metocean analysis works and developing technical solutions to design requirements.

What do you need to succeed?

• Ability to use OrcaFlex and hand calculations
• Knowledge of coders and Standards Including DNV and IEC
• Qualifying Degree with Offshore design experience
