Mechanical Design Engineer in Stevenage, Hertfordshire

We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop cutting-edge components and assemblies. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support testing and manufacturing, and help drive innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.

What you'll do:

• Design and prove mechanical components and assemblies
• Support manufacturing, testing, and supplier engagement
• Plan and report work to meet project milestones
• Challenge and refine requirements to reduce complexity and lead time

What we're looking for:

• Experience with Creo or similar 3D CAD tools
• Knowledge in areas such as DFMA, structural design, tolerancing, material selection, and environmental testing
• Strong collaboration skills and experience in design reviews
• Broad understanding of other engineering disciplines
