Management Accountant in Poole, Dorset

Management Accountant - Poole - 7/8 Month Fixed Term Contract - Up to £40,000 (PAYE)

ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a huge social housing company based in Poole.

The role requires the successful candidate to provide the best financial information and support for the development business and other internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

* Production of monthly management and assisting with annual statutory accounts
* Preparation of budgets and forecasts
* Preparation of financial reports and liaison with budget holders and other stakeholders external to finance to discuss and review
* Maintaining a good level of technical accounting knowledge to ensure that accounts are prepared correctly and in line with the relevant accounting standards
* Manage workload, delivery and development of assistant management accountants

Requirements:

* Relevant degree education or AAT level three or above would be an advantage
* Relevant experience includes working as part of a financial reporting team, management accounting, and budgeting. working with financial systems and working as part of a larger team to achieve common goals
* Experience and knowledge of specialist financial systems is desirable
* Ability to manage workload and deliver outputs to specific deadlines
* Some staff management experience is desirable
