Maintenance Surveyor
Location: South Region / Leatherhead | Rate: Up to £35 per hour (inside IR35) | Contract

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Surveyor to deliver a high-quality repairs and maintenance service across responsive repairs, voids, cyclical works, complex projects, and LDR, damp & mould surveys. You'll carry out inspections, prepare technical reports, manage contractors, and ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to excellent standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct pre- and post-works inspections, diagnosing defects and recommending solutions.
• Manage contractor performance, regional budgets (~£2m), and ensure value for money.
• Oversee major void works, disrepair cases, statutory notices, and complex repairs.
• Prepare specifications, quotations, and cost estimates; provide technical advice.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships and ensure compliance with H&S and statutory regulations.

About you:

• Diploma in Surveying, Property & Maintenance (Level 3) + RICS/CIOB membership.
• Knowledge of building construction, standards, compliance, and social housing regulations.
• Strong communication, financial management, and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
