ARM are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator on a permanent basis. You will be required to manage and coordinate the transportation of goods via airfreight and ocean freight.

The Role:

• Receive customer quotations via varying methods - email / online portal. Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within agreed timeframe.
• Liaise with airlines, ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and other transportation providers to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve any transportation-related issues
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with airfreight / Oceanfreight shipments, such as delays, damages, or customs disputes
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings within the airfreight import/export operations, and implement best practices accordingly.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Ocean Import, Export and crosstrade
• Able to cope and accustomed to working under pressure to meet fixed deadlines
• Must be able to build and develop strong relationships with customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication with an eye for detail
• Enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated team player with excellent time management skills.
