Legionella Risk Assessor in London

Our client is a leading name is a water treatment/hygiene sector, known for providing high-quality water and legionella services to clients across the country. They currently hold a vacancy for a professional and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor based in or around the London area. The successful candidate will hold the legionella risk assessment qualification and experience in under-taking legionella risk assessments to ACOP L8 guidelines. This ideal candidate will also come from a strong water hygiene background with experience undertaking legionella compliance duties.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Delivering legionella risk assessments to a varied contract base.
• Undertake monitoring tasks occasionally including L8.
• Disinfection of mains water systems, tank cleans and descales, changing and replacing tanks, remedial work, flushing systems, water softeners, etc.
• Carrying out TMV servicing and cold water storage tank inspections.
• Carrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold-water systems and cooling towers.
• Providing accurate reports and maintaining paperwork.
• Carrying out temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems.
• Minor Plumbing/remedial works.
• Interpreting the results and maintaining and installing dosing systems, etc.
• Building and maintaining a good rapport with the clients.

The Ideal Candidate:

• The applicant will hold a strong water treatment / legionella background and must be fully conversant with the ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Hold a proven track record of undertaking legionella risk assessments to a varied site base.
• Will have hands on experience delivering water hygiene duties to a varied site base.
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Packages.
• Full UK Drivers licence
