Hybrid - 1/2 days per week in Manchester
One of our key products is the Job Role Catalogue (JRC) which encompasses all the job descriptions for the organisation and is the foundation of our recruitment and career development processes. It is essential the content for the JRC is fit for purpose and that we are using it in the most productive and valuable way. Your role will be to lead on how we review, simplify where possible refresh our job descriptions, and ensure that this is reflected effectively in the Career Pathways for roles.
Summary of the Role and Key Responsibilities
* Reviewing the Job Role Catalogue against the best practice; industry, government, and professional standards; and the requirements from the organization
* Proposing any changes that could be made with clear rationale and outlining the impact
* Defining implementation plan for any changes and highlighting all dependencies, including changes to Career Pathways
* Delivering implementation plan
* Working closely with colleagues, especially within Capability, Heads of Roles, Practice teams, and HR
This should also include the Levels of skills you require
* Proven solid experience working in a capability/L&D role
* Understanding of job role architecture and knowing what makes an effective job description
* Experience in creating and making changes and improvements to job descriptions and aligning with professional frameworks
* Project Management - able to plan effectively, deal with multiple high-pressure priorities, and report effectively on progress
* Relationship / Stakeholder Management - strong skills in forging positive relationships, gaining insights and feedback from a diverse and large range of stakeholders, and managing stakeholders at all levels within a complex and/or large organization
